Fls 3 per stem, star-shaped, 74mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 32mm long, ovate to oblong, blunt, greenish yellow 3B/C, with greenish white 155C at base extending to varying degrees towards apex, either side of midrib, with slight, pale mucro, a little reflexed, plane, with margins incurved to a little wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments a little narrower, more nearly spreading; corona 16mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth slightly expanded and shallowly lobed, with rim minutely crenate. Strongly and sweetly scented.
